Matar
Matar is a strikingly flat luminaire by designer Makio Hasuike, with a restrained, contemporary silhouette. The housing combines die-cast aluminium and aluminium sheet, closed with flat extra-clear glass. An IP66 protection rating and IK10 impact resistance prepare the fixture for long service in public space. A ring of LED points around the edge is available on request, giving the luminaire its own signature after dark.

Optional LED ring
A ring of LED points can be integrated along the edge of the luminaire. By day Matar remains a restrained, flat design object; after sunset the ring draws a subtle line of light that gives streets and squares extra character.
