Chara
The Chara luminaire, designed by Studio ATA, brings the character of interior lighting into public space and feels at home in both historical and contemporary surroundings. It is built from die-cast and extruded aluminium, aluminium sheet and brass, with a PMMA cylinder and prismatic flat glass, and is rated IP65 and IK08. The wide light-emitting surface and the surrounding reflector deliver efficient output with little glare. Four standard light distributions cover most applications, from residential streets to promenades.

Flexible lens system
The optical heart of Chara consists of stacked PMMA lenses that transmit light very effectively, even after years of use. Because the lenses can be arranged in different configurations, project-specific light distributions are possible alongside the four standard ones. This lets you tailor the light pattern to the profile of a street, square or park.
